Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actor who earned fame for her role in Hum Aapke hain Koun as well as Beta Saajan. Her career began in the 1980s. Her character as Anil Kapoor in Tezaab earned her an enormous amount of attention. She then acted alongside Aamir In Dil. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai she took up dancing in the early years of her life. While she was young She began acting but had a difficult time as a majority films she made were unpopular. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and then went on to be one of the best-known actors in the Indian film industry. The actress took a break from her career following her marriage, but returned to the industry of entertainment. Dixit was the main character as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. She won eight of them. She was also honored with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian award in India. She is well-known for her involvement in social work too.
