Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia, is an Spanish Flamenco music singer. As a teenager, she has worked both in traditional and popular music. Her singing interests have broadened to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and renowned musician has described the sound of the young singer as sweet and sharp but with bite. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, has been a huge critical as well as commercial success. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and won an Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The album was released in the month of March 2022, following an Saturday Night Live performance featuring the track Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to appear alone on the popular program. Motomami the album by Rosalia that was awarded the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to receive an award for Latin Album of the Year award twice.
